I am 5'5" and 180 lbs. I have curvy hips and a small chest. The medium fit better up top, but it hugged my hips too much so I got the large. I'll still keep it (as resort wear) and just be careful about bending over.
The ruddy-brown is beautiful but this dress looks like a sack. As someone who is now smaller-bodied but historically larger-bodied, I have very little tolerance for shapeless or oversized clothing (since so much of clothing for fat people is basically a tent - designers do better!). I digress. If y...ou have been thin all your life you might feel differently about this dress. For me, hard pass.

As usual, the quality was there, it really fit well, and the color was beautiful. The only reason for 4 stars and return was the "diamond" on the front. When I tried it on, the light-colored diamond really stood out in a spot I want to hide. It accentuated my middle and stomach. As an older person, I need to try to hide that!

The dress is really pretty. If you have a stomach, you might want to go up one size. I wear a large and I ordered XL and I ordered tall because I like my dresses to be long. I'm 5'10". I will be wearing an off the shoulder tank top under my dress.
