the color in the photos is really deceptive. There is one solo photo of the dress alone showing its actual color - a light khaki beige color. the photos of the dress on the model show a color that looks like ivory. this is frustrating as I wasn't expecting the beige color I received - though it is l...ovely as well. I ordered an XS and was worried it would be excessively long (I am 5'2" and would have ordered a Petite option had there been one, especially since other reviewers said this was a really long dress) but the length is perfect - mid-calf on my short self! I am not sure if I'll be keeping this as I was hoping for the ivory color as shown on the model, but it is a really pretty dress.
Really pretty dress, too bad most of BR's clothes require the wearer to be much taller than the average woman. Given the style it is impossible to even consider hemming the dress so don't buy it unless you are at least 5'9" tall with long legs, or it will look frumpy on you. Such a shame BR can't ...be bothered making their best clothes in petite. What's ever more bizarre is that this dress also comes in TALL. Seriously - how many women are taller than 5'10"???

I have been looking at this dress for some time. One reviewer said it was made for tall women. When it went on sale, I had to have it and took a chance. So glad I did! It fits perfectly and will be great on our upcoming cruise. I'm 5'3" and 180 lbs. but losing weight. I got a large. Fits well and I usually wash before wearing, so even if it turns out to shrink a bit after washing, it will still be perfect! I only wish BR would post the length of their dresses. I may not have waited so long to buy it, if they did.

This dress is beautiful, the color is a very nice neutral natural light tan linen, not beige or ivory, like is shown on the photos. I purchased a size medium and the fit is big all over, should have purchased a small or extra-small. Elastic waist stretches a lot, and a bust is adjustable with the ties. I'm usually between a size 4/6. Great length. Hope this helps.

It's so pretty and for for just about any occasion.... Until you turn the dress around. First of all, good luck wearing a bra for this. I tried 8 different configurations. Failed. Second, you need someone to help you tie it every single time. Who has time for that? Third, if you want to wear this to work or to any respectable event, you have to put something over it. So it is going back.
