I am built like a linebacker, or an Olympic swimmer - just a lot of power on top. I bought the Essential leather jacket (in XL, the largest size available at the time) 2 years ago. I adore the styling, but I am squeezed into it like a sausage. I have to keep it open or things get awful unmoveable.... I just got the Enola in XL and my problem is the opposite. When I zip it closed, I have room to store a baby koala against my stomach. I dream of the in-between. Maybe the essential in an XXL (but then I'd have 2??). BR - call me, I think I should be your sizing model for XL leather coats. I promised to buy them ALL if they fit consistently better!
This is a rare instance where I would say the quality of the leather is absolutely worth the price for a lifelong investment piece for your wardrobe. Competitors have similarly priced leather jackets that are super thin and will probably fall apart in a few years at most, whereas I can see the Enola... lasting decades. BUT I should have read the reviews before ordering -- if you're on the shorter or slimmer side, you'll be swimming in this boxy, weirdly cropped jacket. As a 5'0" girlie, the XS makes me look like a square, whether I zip up the jacket or not, no matter what outfit or shoes I pair it with. Sadly will be returning and continuing my quest for the perfect leather jacket because the Enola is not it!

It is a nice, heavy and good quality leather jacket. It is big though. I bought XS, my usual size being S. Even XS is a bit bigger that I would have liked it, but I decided to keep it. Removed 1 star for how it was shipped - obviously from a store, in a very thin envelope and with no protection that it might be scratched. Beyond incredible for an item at this price when most retailers would send it with a protective bag, hanger and carboard box.

This coat is beautiful. I was on the fence for so long but finally took the plunge and made the purchase. It was so worth it. It is beautifully constructed. I'm excited for the weather change so I can start wearing it.

gap.comThis jacket is absolutely gorgeous. High quality leather. Fits true to size. I am 5'9 and it's slightly cropped on me. I think it will look so nice with different outfits.

The jacket looks great on the wife and is a snug fit jacket without looking snug. Leather seems of good quality. Was just shocked at how little the jacket truly weighed. But overall a really nice jacket.

My wife loves it! The sleeves are a little too long. Besides that, it is a beautiful well-made jacket. Two thumbs up.
