Proportions not right for petites

I would have loved these pants if the proportions were right for a petite. The blue is beautiful and the fit loose and easy. I'm 5 ft. tall and they landed at the ankles. These might be the very best pants I've ever owned! Love the material, love the shape, and they're so comfortable! They are also wry flattering on my hourglass shape. My only regret is not realizing this soon enough to get every color.

I ordered my usual size I can do an 8 or 10P and the waist was loose, tht butt super tight and the legs loose. People say this garment has stretch but I don't really feel it and I thought the taupe colour looked kinda dingy instead of as pictured.
