I really struggle to find pants or jeans that fit, and these pants are perfectly cut for me. The waistband is narrow enough that they don't gape at the back (I got a 6L, it fits although the 4L would have fit better), the hips wide enough that I can put the pants on, and the long version is long eno...ugh that it almost reaches the ground (I'm 5'9"). The color is a nice soft cream. However, there is one detail that now that I've seen it, I can't unsee. The way the zipper is placed pushed the button off-center, and it is all the more obvious because it is now way closer to one belt loop than the other. If you wear a cardigan with buttons, they will not align with the pant's button. It just looks like there is a defect, but all the weekender pants (both the straight leg and the barrel leg have that cut). I want to love this pant so much, and yet, all I can see is the off-center button :(
I already reviewed these but it was not posted for some reason. The cut is off on these. They are so baggy through the crotch and legs no matter what size I tried on. And the exaggerated angled cut to the pockets mean they flare open with every movement. And the fabric is SO HEAVY AND BULKY. Like a ...heavyweight denim, not anything you'd want to wear in the summer. Not what I expected at all. I am 5'9" tall, lean athletic build and 145 lbs. I tried regular and long length in both size 4 and size 6. Size 6 was huge and size 4 still had room in the waist and were unflattering loose and baggy through the hips and crotch and legs still. Length was off two with either option. I really wanted to love them but returned them. There are so many much better options out there.

Versatile colour (Khaki/Olive), great fit and cut. Comfortable and natural fabric. Hard to find all this these days. Size 4 fit me thou I'm usually 6 in pants.

I bought these pants in black and ecru. They are a nice weight cotton and fit me perfectly. I'm 5'3", and they do not need any alterations.

gap.comLots of the reviews are misleading. These pants are enormous in the hips, waist, and thigh. I ordered my regular size 4, but they fit more like a 6 or 8. They are gigantic. And the fabric is so thick. It's like a heavy denim- which is not what the description supports. Now I'm stuck with these massive pants that I got on final sale, which I can't return or exchange. What a waste of money. At the very least BR could have provided a description of the fit, such as, they fit over-size. Good job on robbing people of their money, BR. I am very unhappy with this purchase.

gap.comBought these on final sale thinking they would fit but the size I usually take in all my other Banana Republic pants is too loose and baggy. If you are taking advantage of a sale size down.

More of a high rise than mid-rise. The fabric is heavy and durable and looks a bit bigger than pictured.
