I am older and needed a dress to wear for work functions, this is beautiful. I too got the dot design, it fits snug so the solid colors will show every lump and bump. However I don't love the neckline but it works with a blazer or cardigan. I bought one size larger than my usual size 8 and it is sn...ug, so size up one dress size unless you are very slim.
Leave it to Banana Republic to cut corners on the fabric. You will literally never get wrinkles out of this dress, and it will be impossible to take anywhere without getting full of creases: I'm beyond irritated, because I love this color and the fit. I would've bought the long sleeve dark peridot ...dress, too, said that some genius decided to put it cut out right where your back fat and bra meet.

I don't usually wear patterns, so this was a stretch outside of my comfort zone. Fabric is nice, fit is flattering -- though I don't know how it would work for someone without an hourglass figure, as it is narrow at the waist. With low heels and a flowy coverup it looks casual; with a structured jacket and heels, it looks polished. A good purchase for the right body type. I'm bigger on top than bottom and found there room at the bust.

I bought this dress because I liked the way it was made and it was discounted significantly. I assumed it was the color. I was surprised but the color is beautiful and the dress is very becoming. I felt so good wearing it. I usually wear a 12 unless the dress flares at the hip. I have an hour glass shape. They did not have a 12 so I took a chance with the 10. It fit fine but the dress really is true to size, I believe.
