#Sweepstakes: I purchased this dress for a black tie wedding. I purchased my normal size. I got the pale pink dress. The dress does have a different color than it appeared on the website but I love the color! It is a beautiful pink/ purple- gem stone color. It fits perfectly! I do now know what oth...er reviewers meant when they say it doesn't lay right in the back, it skim your behind until halfway down then there is thicker material that makes it go straight down instead of following your curves. But I still love it! The slit in the dress is not too high. I think it is perfect and does not show too much. This dress is slimming and gives you a beautiful silhouette. I wish I had more places to wear this dress! 5'8- 150 lbs- medium was perfect!
Well constructed garment but unwearable for most. The slit is cut too high and will show your underwear and undergarments. Not worth the price of alteration. Cut very narrow, for straight rectangle shapes. Large armholes. If you sew or are willing to take it to the tailor and are very thin, stra...ight, and tall without curves this may be good for you. Fabric does show everything. Slit is VERY high and requires some alteration. It is a design flaw ans not a manufacturing flaw. Short girls skip entirely. Alteration cost will exceed the cost of the garment.

#sweepstakes I already had this dress in the pink color. The velvet fabric is soft. The dress is very comfortable. The style is flattering. Can be worn casually or to a more formal function. I am 5'2" and had to purchase this in a regular length. It is a bit long on me, but can be shortened very easily. Otherwise, the proportions of the dress are perfectly fine.

I ordered a size that was recommended on the website. It also shows it, but on the models. But it was wide in the waist and in the back. Needs to be more fitted. I need to exchange for a smaller size, but there are no exchanges, unfortunately.
