I'm hourglass/ pear shaped with a long torso, so i'm always looking for outfits where there's emphasis on the waist so that I can elongate and balance out my outfit. The reasons why this piece is great: -Cotton is thick and soft, with a slight sheen -The crop effect is short but imo its perfect fo...r a chic look and high rise pants or a silky dress. If it was lower, it would ruin the romantic look and cinched waist effect. -Armpit holes are large, so the thick cotton doesnt dig under my armpits and cause discomfort. i have another sweter i have to donate bc i can't get comfortable with the thick armpit fold I think if this has a blend of silk in the yarn, it would give this sweater more drama and sheen I got the size medium, neckline doesnt show any cleavage at all.
I ordered both a size medium and large in the petite sizing. I'm 5 foot 1 and typically wear a L/XL or 12/14, in most women's clothing. Unfortunately, neither worked for me. I'm busty (36, DDD), and this sweater was so cropped, it ended just under my breasts, and didn't reach my waist. The sleeves w...ere almost too long on me, and were very baggy, adding bulk to my frame and shoulders, which again wasn't flattering on me. Sad to send both sizes back; I bet it's lovely on people with different body types.

It is not as thick as my other sweaters but I can just put some layers underneath it. If you are looking for something that doesn't easily get stretchy, you will not like this sweater.
