I come back to banana republic for business attire again and again. They are nice quality and always fit well. These pants are no different. In IRL, I'm a size 6, but I have worn a size 4 in banana republic pants for 20 years, so at least they're consistent lol. #sweepstakes
The pant fits great and it is a classic, which is hard to get these days. However, the first week of wearing, the seam on the pant leg is coming apart. I have been BR customer for years, never had this kind of issue before, and hopefully the last time.

I bought this pant for work and I absolutely love it! I had to size down more than I expected to get the right fit at the waist, but the length was still perfect even at the smaller size. You can tell by the feel that these pants are high quality. They're fairly lightweight but not thin. The blue is so dark it's almost black but it is still blue in the day light. I will definitely buy another pair in the cream and maybe the black too. If they made a slightly lighter blue color I would get those as well. #sweepstakes
Nice lightweight wool. I dont like the addition of stretch, though (bring back 100% wool pants, please). Also, these are not a true long. I'm 5'7 and could wear these with a kitten heel to brush the floor. Fabric wrinkles easily, and I find the pockets protrude, but that could be based on my shape. These are obably better for those that carry less weight in the thighs / hips.
I love the material and fit of these pants, and I now own this specific style in two colors. I bought my light grey pair in late 2024 and they are true to size, and the charcoal grey that I recently bought in March 2026 fit looser and much more high waisted than the light grey. I will likely have to get the charcoal pair tailored as I've already worn them and can't exchange for a smaller size. Love these pants overall but I'm disappointed that the fit is inconsistent.
