- Modeled after vintage pants from the archives, we cut these in our signature Hopsack—woven with a basketweave texture for us by Italy's famed Reda mill. Here, we kept the fit relaxed, but never sloppy with a wide leg, trouser crease, and a laid-back break at the hem.

- Wide-leg fit: High rise. Tailored for the at-ease fit of traditional trousers, but with the extra wide-leg and full length of puddle-hem pants. Wide leg opening measures 10" flat.

This is the closest a pair of off-the-rack slacks can come to matching a tailored pair. They drape perfectly, have a higher rise, and feature a breathable, airy hopsack weave—perfect for three seasons. I wish they were available in more colors, such as navy and charcoal.
I ordered the pants & was excited from the description. Once I received the order, I discovered a nice, pant with a gorgeous drape but it had one drawback. Due to me being. 6'5", the pants were too short. This type of cut should be ulnhemmed or hv an inseam of 36". That length would ensure that the ...garment is long enuff or can be tailored to fit a wide variety of lengths. I hope BR thinks outside the box & produces garments for the tall or offer it with that option. I hated to send it back but I had no choice.

Great volume, nice fabric. I was concerned they would be too thin and not have enough stiffness to hold their shape and they would just look sloppy. But they don't at all. I will say mine had clearly been returned by someone who needs to crack a window in their house because they smelled like greasy food. But that's not the pants' fault, haha. I'm glad I got them and will have them dry cleaned, but they shouldn't have been sent back out like that. #sweepstakes

The Italian hopsack is a very comfortable and light pant that makes the most simple clothes look elegant. Another good thing about this specific model is that since its cloth is also sourced from reda-mill it has the same pattern used in many of the suit jackets on the store so you can mix and match to have various suits for different occasion all with the same Italian cloth.
