Descriptive review because I was looking for one when I ordered!! I'm 5'7" with an athletic build and big butt/hips - a 'classic' figure, you could say! The sizing because of the elastic band is 'between sizes' as is the length for somebody my height. I ordered a Tall because of some of the comment...s, and found that they're actually far too long and was hoping for a ~slight~ crop as you can see on the model. Also sized up as was recommended from the other reviews. What I will say is that if you, like me, are between sizes, size down. These are certainly bigger at the waist and because of the fabric there is a lot of give. I will likely end up getting these altered if they don't shrink with first wash.
These are pull-up, like thick, tight leggings. I had expected a hidden small zipper on the side or something. So, it looks like trousers from the knees down, but they will need to fit you like a glove, like leggings from the thighs up. They are just too body-conscious for me to wear in a business se...tting, unless you pair it with a long top like the blazer shown, cleverly styled.

Love BR ponte pants. I have 4 pairs of BR ponte pants. Different styles and colours. Nice heavyweight material. Colour never fades. Never lose their shape even after a full day of wear. Look great dressed up, or for everyday.

I expect ponte to have some heft to it, but the fabric is way too heavy for southern weather. Regardless, the fabric not only felt heavy, it looked heavy. I imagine it would have held up in the was and would not be prone to wrinkling. Returned.

I actually bought my 1st pair of these 2nd hand. Liked them enough to buy more colors. These are a heavier material so not so much a summer pant. I wish they would have offered these in more colors!? winter white/cream and a dark grey! The material is thick enough that it no doubt would NOT be a problem in lighter colors (see though) as happens at times. Maybe Fall/Winter this year? Hopefully!

love the pant! Easy to pull on. I ordered a size small regular. I am petite, but I wanted them a bit longer. I'm 5'3 and 125 lbs but fairly muscular. The fabric is nice and thick so it's been warm for the spring weather. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the fabric attracts pet hair like crazy b
