- Care: Though more resistant to daily wear than smooth leather, grained calf is not water-repellent and can be sensitive to moisture and staining.
- In case of rain exposure, gently pat dry with a soft cloth. If the leather becomes soaked, fill the shoes with paper (avoid printed newsprint) to absorb excess moisture and maintain shape. Let them dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not use artificial heat sources such as hair dryers, which can cause the leather to harden or crack.
- To maintain the leather’s suppleness and finish, use a neutral or color-matching cream polish. Apply with a soft cloth, allow to absorb, then buff gently.
- We recommend using cedar shoe trees between wears to help maintain the shape and absorb residual humidity.
- Store your shoes in their dust bags, in a dry, well-ventilated space.
