This fit is good in terms of bust measurement, waist, and length. Unfortunately, it does not have darts which makes the arm holes gap and stand out. It's not noticeable that the sides pucker out unless you raise your arms up. It's not a dealbreaker because I wear a blazer anyways. I'm a size 6 and w...ear a D cup and I ordered a medium and it fits well (aside from the underarms puckering).
I believe this top is replacing the sublime essential tank. I actually ordered both in a size medium just to see the difference, and the sublime is much higher quality. Sublime fits me perfectly especially around the bust (no gaping at arm holes) due to the darts near the bust area. They removed t...hat in the essential, so now there is pretty significant gaping under the arms. I'm indifferent to the matte vs glossy silk I think both are really nice. But the sizing is the biggest issue, as both size charts are the exact same but the fits are absolutely not the same. Customer service wasn't able to give me an answer as to why the sizes were so different. Shame! It's definitely not a top I'd order online before I could try it.

This tank top was exactly what I was looking to add as a staple to my closet. I don't have any silk tanks and was happy with the quality and stitching. When I tried it on, I liked how it fit. It had enough room for my arms without showing any of my standard-fit brassiere. The fabric flows with movement. I just need to get the creases out from shipment before wearing.

So happy I ended up buying this tank. Both pieces I bought from BR were top-notch in quality of materials and construction. As someone who works professionally with clothes and has been sad to see the sharp drop in quality for clothes in general over the years, this is a proper silk tank. The curved hem and scoop neck have beautiful, clean finishing. The interior has french seams! I know I'll be able to keep and wear this piece for years to come.

Beautiful quality silk and construction. While the flashier silk side is on the inside of the garment I cut the tags off and wear it reversible for a two look shirt. LOVE!

I recently bought four of these shirts on sale for home and as gifts because I loved the ones I purchased before. Unfortunately, the quality has clearly changed. The material is definitely different, it's not the same fabric. It's tougher and less silky. This time, the fabric was sewn inside out , the dull side is on the outside, while the shiny, beautiful side is hidden inside. On top of that, the stitching is now visible on the front, making it look cheap, whereas before the seams were inside and invisible outside, For home use it's fine, but I can't give it as a gifts.
