The wide-leg palazzo cut makes my figure look slimmer while still emphasizing curves in a very elegant way. I also really appreciate how the high-rise waist was designed. The very top part with the belt loops slightly widens instead of staying completely straight and tight, so it doesn't dig into your stomach when sitting. Now, about sizing — Banana Republic's size guide is very misleading, especially if you are buying their jeans for the first time. My measurements are 79 cm waist and 102 cm hips, and according to the size chart, I ordered size 30 and size 29 to compare and choose. Guess what? They both were big! 30 was huge on me and was literally falling off. 29 was still too big. So I had to return them and order size 28, and it ended up fitting perfectly. So my advice: measure yourself, check the size chart, and then consider going down about two sizes if you are unfamiliar with Banana Republic denim sizing. As for their length, I'm 5'10", and the regular length was perfect on me. Barefoot, the jeans lightly touch the floor, so they work well with flats and probably with a low heel too. I also tried the long version, and it was too long. For my height, it would only work with high heels, or it may be better suited for someone around 6 feet tall or taller. Overall, I'm very happy with this piece!

Excuse me! These are THE jeans of the summer. The fit is amazing. Not too thick denim and it just fits perfectly. I can not say enough good things about these jeans! Snugs the waist and makes your legs go on forever! A must buy. I'm 5'7" and bought my usual size 29

Palazzo jean are a lovely option and made well. Since there's so much more denim material to make them extra wide leg the overall weight of the pants are heavy. Petite Fit is great I'm 5'3" and wearing a 1" platform sport shoe keeps them off the floor for a casual option.

If you're tall with wider shoulders than hips like me, you need to try these pants! I have a similar style from another brand and these ones beat out my faves. They're super comfortable, stretchy but fitting in all the right places, and the volume helps balance wider shoulders which I absolutely love! The length also couldn't have been more perfect. As a 5'9" woman it is perfect to wear with flats or heels!
