This peplum top is crisp and polished for work or casual wear. The brown is quite dark, nearly black in appearance. I have a similar BR peplum top from last spring in pink that has an adjustable 2-snap back tab. This year's top has elastic so it's not as adjustable for waist size/comfort. I bought a... S which is slightly large overall but not so much that I need to size down. This style top is full by design so the arms are quite wide. You can roll the sleeves a bit to create a more slim arm appearance. I would not wear this top with the jeans and sneakers I have on in the photos. 34B, 28"waist, 37"hip
This top looks great on first wearing, but after washing following the instructions, I have very wrinkled mess. It took me over 30 mins to iron it so that it look like when I got it, with smooth fabric and all the pleats in the right place. If it was just the pleating, fine, but the fabric was all ...crinkly looking too. Very disappointed since it looked great at first.

It took me over 30 mins to iron it so that it look like when I got it, with smooth fabric and all the pleats in the right place. If it was just the pleating, fine, but the fabric was all crinkly looking too. Very disappointed since it looked great at first.

Shoddy construction. looks great and fit well but the front seam split completely open when i was taking at off after first wear - not from tension just literally split like the threads were made of paper

This would've been 5 starts, I loved it . But the material is very thin and it ripped while i puleld it on today :( one wrong move at its ruined. It should be more durable for the material.

I am usually a size 14, I got this shirt in Large but the waist was a bit tight. Exchanged it for XL but then the sleeves are too big, not sure yet if I'll keep it. I like the peplum style that hides my tummy and the V neckline that elongate the neck. Got the blue one, nice color, I initially wanted to wear it with the reversible checked trench in brown and blue.

I really love the design of this Cotton Poplin Cinched-Waist Shirt. The cut is beautiful, offering just the right amount of chic detail at the waist and the perfect length. It is a very flattering and well-tailored piece. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is the color. Based on the description, I expected more of an ivory or creamy color. Instead, it is a much more toned-down, yellowish-brownish ecru. While I am keeping the shirt because the fit is so wonderful, the actual color is a bit of a letdown compared to the bright, pretty cream I was hoping for.
