Pretty dress but so disappointed. I was so excited for this dress and to be able to wear to some events we have coming up. The colors are beautiful and the quality is great. However, I'm having so many issues with sizing on clothes from Banana Republic. My numeric dress size is a size 6 or 8. I norm...ally size up to an 8 to give me a looser fit. This was so tight under my ribcage, I could barely breathe. And the mock neck was extremely loose. Will have to return. Definitely recommend sizing up.
I normally wear a size 8 at Banana Republic. I bought this dress in a size 8. I loved the dress and the material. But I couldn't zip the dress. I exchanged for a size 10, and had the same issue. The dress cuts in the mid section.

I am 5'10" and the length of the dress was slightly above my ankle. However, I thought the length was perfect. I wore this dress to a wedding and received endless compliments. It's form fitting on top but loose and breezy on the bottom I will definitely wear this dress many times in the coming years.

The fabric is beautiful and the fit is perfect, BUT... that detail in front on the waist on the front of the dress did not look nice on me. It makes a bulge and it is not flattering. I wish that the flap was tucked in the waist band just like on the back of the dress. Still, I think it is worth to try and see if it looks good on you. If flows beautifully.
