This denim shirt is not that stogie, bulky denim of yesterday. It's the denim fabric which will become Softer and supple when wore and loved. The classically nostalgic pearl snaps punctuates the look but doesn't pigeon hole the look as too rodeo. It simply conveys the message the way a confident wom...an would want to be seen…confident, stylish and smart…just sayin!
I hate to be the only naysayer as I usually adore BR but this was an overwhelmingly heavy, stiff shirt with impossible snaps. Absolutely beautiful dark denim that is an unmatched quality, but between the enormous sizing, stiffness, inability to roll the sleeves back and impossible snaps I had to re...turn it. The white or light colored snaps are also a huge miss - the shirt is so clean looking the snaps should have matched the shirt color. At 5'1 and 108, I ordered as tiny as offered but still huge. For fabric weight comparison - when the package came, I thought they sent regular jeans by mistake it was so heavy.

Very good quality denim shirt. It can be styled classically with other basics or dressed down for an everyday look. It's ideal for transitional weather, can be worn on its own, or layered open over a t-shirt. The material is of medium thickness, and can be tucked in. Like its dark blue almost black wash. I purchased size XS because I didn't want too oversized fit. I am 5'6", normally between size 2 and 4.
