This dress is so flattering. I bought the white and loved it so much that I also got the floral print when it came back in stock. Dress does run a bit big. I'm 5'5" and 130 lbs and normally wear a small but I purchased XS. I've worn it casual w/sandals or dressed it up w/heels or a blazer.
The quality of this garment is magnificent! The tailoring was spot on! What I have an issue with is the cut of the top part allows no space for breasts. Where would I place the 34B busts I carry? The top just laid flat over my chest like an apron! Making the dress billow below looking wide makin...g me look wider than I am comfortable with. I tried both the tall Medium and medium. I'm 5.10 170lb. The tall is longer (floor length…. Just gorgeous) but the tie strings were struggling to keep the dress up. When I fastened it, the gaps formed under my arms. This floral design dress fabric is a home run!!! Can you bring this back next time but just in a normal kaftan or maxi dress like the embroidery one that's been selling like hot cakes! Middle aged women shop at banana republic and we expect our clothing to reflect our lifestyle. Please please rework this fabric for next season. When they hit the clearance section I would rebuy and have my seamstress rework the top for me. At price minus 40% FnF discount, I still just couldn't justify keeping this. #sweepstakes

Love this dress! Gorgeous espresso brown colour and the fabric is beautiful. You can wear it in the summer, as shown, but add a pair of boots and a denim jacket and it's perfect for Fall.
