I saw this 100% linen dress on line and decided to buy it during the 30% off sale because I loved the style and the price seemed more reasonable on sale. The dress seemed perfect; I loved the navy print on white background, pockets and most importantly a waist line that's adjustable with hidden elas...tic and a draw string. I'm 5'8, 36BC and 135 lbs. and ordered medium Tall since it's 100% linen that's machine washable and dryer safe and I wanted to avoid shrinking issues. More over, BR has been selling clothes, especially dresses where the waistband and bodice is too small for the average woman. Well I was pleasantly surprised with the measurements of this dress and smooth quality of the medium weight linen fabric. The bodice seemed quite roomy and accommodating with well tailored pleats and the waistband was generous but the dress was a maxi length on me so I sent it back and ordered the Small regular. The hem of Med. Tall size was full length maxi dress for me and I wanted more of a midi dress. Not sure if I will need to wear a slip under it since the dress is unlined. I would have loved if the dress skirt was lined with a breathable fabric. Linings seem to prevent excessive wrinkles in cotton and linen clothes. I love the wide shoulders on this dress that easily covers bra straps and the pockets of course. This dress is so versatile. I plan on wearing it to work and take on vacations because it's so pretty and comfortable. The pretty print is rare in linen clothes and will hide any minor spills/stains. I think I will be quite happy with S reg size. I love this dress and highly recommend it.

Second, it should have been offered in actual sizes for a better fit instead ...of S, M, L etc. Third, it is short-waisted, particularly if you are busty. Finally, it is unlined. Makes it look cheap. If I'm paying this much for a dress, I don't want to have to buy my own slip.

I loved this dress in blue. The inset waist and shoulders are typically very flattering. However, this dress was a bust. First, it is only for flat-chested girls -- if you are above a B, it will barely cover your chest. Second, it should have been offered in actual sizes for a better fit instead of S, M, L etc. Third, it is short-waisted, particularly if you are busty. Finally, it is unlined. Makes it look cheap. If I'm paying this much for a dress, I don't want to have to buy my own slip.
