I am trying to love this fair aisle sweater. First out of the bag it's so striking with the blues,greens and orange. So festive. I normally buy Medium in sweaters and it's loose enough that it's not constricting. I read so many reviews that it runs small and I kept waiting for a Large to become avai...lable since i felt I needed to size up. But it has been out of stock in this pattern so I just got the medium. I absolutely love this sweater. It's soft and not itchy. I just wish it was a little bit more loose. It's fitted but not tight and I feel bulgy around the stomach area🤭. I am 5'1" and 118 lbs. Mediums in sweaters are normally loose fit on me but this medium fits like a Small. I hope I can make it work. I will be so sad if it starts to pill a lot. So many people complain about that. For the price point you wouldn't expect any flaws. But I anticipate it happening😔
Shoulder seams: the shoulder seams do not lay flat and instead stick out when worn. It looks sloppy. Material pills too easily: it looks and feels like it is about to pill even though I've only tried it on briefly. I got a merino sweater from here last year and it barely pills after many wears. ...Fit: I like that it's both somewhat fitted and cropped. I like the length of the ribbing. The fit is great. It looks great if you squint enough that you can't see the material or the shoulder seams poking out. Banana republic, if this item could be remade with better materials and better (or no visible) seams, I would totally buy this at a higher price. Please remake this item with better quality.

The sweater peeling when I received it. the quality is poor than I expected, the peeling areas are underarm, shoulder, seems wore it and return it, final sale no exchange is poorly for customer service with special condition like this. Specially when I went to store 2070 NE Allie Ave #420 Hillsboro, OR 97124. The women was not professional to handle the customer questions. Super disappointed to the customer service and the quality as I haven't had any issues before. I brought all of my professional work clothes from here, I am happy with all of them.

I bought two of these and washed both on gentle with a detergent made for wool and cashmere sweaters. Both sweaters shrunk at least one whole size. If that wasn't bad enough the sleeves shrunk (width wise) as well making them unwearable. This has happened before but with their 100% wool items which I no longer buy. But I thought since it was only 55% wool that this wouldn't happen. If you plan to buy I would highly recommend dry cleaning it only.
