I needed the sleeve shortened, but the tailor advised that the way the jacket was constructed the button holes and buttons could not be raised so that the sleeve length could be shortened. I probably should have returned the jacket, but I like the fit so much. I decided that I would keep it and hope nobody noticed that the coat sleeves are just a tattoo too long.
