- Proof that beauty can be found everywhere, even the earth, the artisans of the Le Ndomo social enterprise in Mali use traditional mud-dyeing and weaving to create eye-catching Bogolan mud cloth pillows of lush cotton. An intricate and ancestral practice, mud-dyeing begins with the collection of mud from riverbeds, followed by a lengthy fermentation in clay pots for up to a year, which is then used like paint to create bold, beautiful patterns.
- LE NDOMO: Crafted in partnership with Mali's Le Ndomo, a social enterprise founded in 1990 to both preserve the ancestral mud-cloth dyeing practices, and create employment opportunities through training young people who have not had the chance to study.
- Invisible zip closure.
- Pillow inserts are sold separately and are sized slightly larger than our pillow covers to create a fuller effect.
- Handmade in Mali.
